Words matter! Who would argue with that, right? Whether a person is a Democrat or a Republican, male or female, black or white, few would argue with the fact that words do indeed matter. That’s one of the few things almost everyone can agree on these days. An area where there is undoubtedly far less agreement among various groups today, is whether or not some form of a “word police” should exist (implied or un-implied), to govern peoples’ speech in public, a concept that flies in the face of the First Amendment, but one that Barack Obama spoke openly about while campaigning for Hillary.
The First Amendment of the Constitution guarantees Americans the Right of Free Speech, however during the last eight years of the Obama Presidency, that right has been under a full-fledged non-stop assault. As evidence, look no further than the mountain of stories linked at the bottom of this post chronicling said attacks. Many of the attacks are not long legal battles that eventually end up at the Supreme Court, but instead are the result of the far-left weaponizing the English language into one of liberty's greatest enemies: Political Correctness.
During the presidency of Barack Obama, and often times with his direct participation, the far-left coastal elites in this country have used their control over Hollywood, the mainstream media, and academia to force their radical ideology upon the rest of the nation by abusing the influence they have over those institutions. Time and time again, when political opponents of the far-left are caught speaking out loudly against the far-left’s agenda, they find themselves the targets of vicious smear campaigns, or public shaming, until they are silenced into submission.
After watching the process just described play out repeatedly over the last eight years, the “word police” may not have a brick and martyr building with their name on it, but through the practices of negative reinforcement and fear, the far-left has forced its will on the rest of the country, particularly in academia where the young and impressionable can be easily manipulated or indoctrinated.
If the 2016 election taught every day Americans anything, it taught us that we the people were being brainwashed, and used as pawns in part of a much larger global scheme, one that we weren't even the beneficiaries of. Some might think my use of the word “brainwashed” is too strong of a word? I'd say perhaps it’s not strong enough. The very institutions Americans have every right to expect the truth from, the ones we rely on for knowledge and our news, have betrayed us. The following video illustrates that point perfectly.
WARNING: THE VIDEO DOES CONTAIN SOME FOUL LANGUAGE
Considering how close that video mirrors real life, I must confess at this point that the video you just watched is meant to be a parody, but how many of you recognized that? Wikipedia defines “Behavior Modification” as:
“The alteration of behavioral patterns through the use of learning techniques such as biofeedback and positive or negative reinforcement.”
Furthermore, Wikipedia defines “Brainwashing” as:
“Making( someone) adopt radically different beliefs by using systematic and often forcible pressure.”
If we accept the definitions provided by Wikipedia as accurate, then the American people have been subjected to brainwashing by the far-left for too long. Furthermore, the outcome of the 2016 election made it pretty clear that Americans in large numbers are now outright rejecting any continued brainwashing by the far-left through the use of political correctness. My fellow countrymen, it has often been said that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Recall in the video when the man says:
“Since when wasn’t news fake? At what point did people think we weren’t making it up from the start? It doesn’t matter if it’s informed or not, if it’s real or fake or not… the news has become nothing more than the Twitter Review Show.”
If art really does mimic life, then we the people have already let political correctness go WAY too far, because that video was pretty accurate. It’s long past the time for us to take back this country, and remain vigilant once we do, or we have no one to blame for what happens but ourselves. In the article below, even Lou Dobbs closes by saying:
“And American voters, at least half of them, will no longer tolerate attempts at mind control through political correctness. The marketplace of ideas, thanks principally to Donald Trump, and to tens of millions of working men and women who voted in this presidential election, well, those folks are aroused. And that’s wonderful for all of us.”
We get the government we deserve. Do not forget that.
Lou Dobbs has a few thoughts on the left-wing national news media and celebrities, all arrayed against Donald Trump, still snapping at his heels. Monumental left-wing ignorance on full display as well at the American Music Awards last night as they stupidly mocked the Trumps.” Mr. Dobbs then plays some excerpts of the nauseating garbage that was part of the broadcast.
He notes, “Those nasty comments turned off the audience, by the way, if you were wondering. The ignorance of the production generated a quick economic consequence for the AMA producers and ABC network – a nosedive in audience numbers. The ratings for the awards show in fact hit an all-time low. The lowlife AMA production followed the cast of the Broadway musical “Hamilton,” lecturing Vice President-elect Mike Pence, for which Donald Trump has demanded an apology.”
Dobbs continues, “But if Broadway only calls out Republicans then I believe Broadway will soon go the way of the left-wing national news media. There are far too many exciting entertainment choices these days that are cheaper, more convenient than a Broadway play that insults much of its audience.” That’s a lesson he says the New York Times is now learning, though not taking to heart and one also that needs to be studied by the self-aggrandized liberal pinheads at NPR.
In response to their inappropriate coverage and actions, Dobbs points out that the sentiment for boycotts is gaining momentum on social media. He says, “The left-wing national media, Broadway and Hollywood have overreached, clearly. And while their leftist politics will likely not shrink, their audiences certainly will. Audiences, consumers, customers are, after November 8th, no longer feeling constrained to tolerate lies, and duplicity and propaganda on the part of media of any kind.”
Dobbs adds, “And American voters, at least half of them, will no longer tolerate attempts at mind control through political correctness. The marketplace of ideas, thanks principally to Donald Trump, and to tens of millions of working men and women who voted in this presidential election, well, those folks are aroused. And that’s wonderful for all of us.”
